Snow run on Dry Lake Hills

Thursday, during our first big push of snow earlier this week (it is still dumping snow right now...) I got out for a sweet run of the Schultz Creek/Little Gnarly/Rocky Ridge Loop on the Dry Lake Hills. Despite a general feeling of lead in my legs I really enjoyed the wild weather and felt fortunate to be out on such a magical day. Welcome to Winter!!! Here is the run in photos and video...

(Gotta love how color stands out in winter...)

(Starting up Little Gnarly)

(A favorite section of mine of the Little Gnarly Trail)

(Super frigid but beautiful up in the top of the  Dry Lake Hills!)

(Heading back down the Brookbank Trail to Rocky Ridge)

(Just after a particularly wind/blizzard/freezing cold  section of the Brookbank! Wow.)

(Now to finish on the Rocky Ridge Trail)

Gotta love running in the snow!!!

(I always enjoy the weirdness of seeing desert plants covered in snow)
